In 2015, during a holiday in the Douro, we visited the Douro Museum, in the city of Peso da Régua.
A very well organized space that preserves and preserves the memory and identity of the wine region.
The fascination that this region causes and the experiences experienced awakened in our desire to create something related to wines.
Little did we know that, at the end of 2016, a year later, through our illustration brand, there would be an invitation from a wine producer to create a label for a new brand that would appear in 2017, the” Guarda Fogo”.
As the name is associated with Tanoaria, we decided to honor this ancestral art using the figure of the tanoeiro.
The red wine Guarda Fogo 2015 Doc Douro was produced by Quinta de Cottas with the traditional grape varieties of the Douro region, an intense ruby color with violet tones and an intense aroma of red fruits. In addition to the 1 liter bottle, a special edition “Magnum” (1,5 l) was launched, in partnership with Jornal de Notícias, to mark Father's Day.
You can find this wine in specialty stores and this special edition on the newsstands between March 13 and April 17, 2017.
