Maria Guedes, founder of Stylista, does not need great presentations for netizens who regularly follow blogs.
Married, mother of two children (Manuel and Pia), loves style/shopping and the digital universe, and considers herself lucky to be able to make this area her profession.
He studied Marketing and Advertising, worked for a few years in agencies (FCB, Ogilvy and other smaller ones) and in 2006 he moved to New York where he lived for almost two years and studied Fashion Studies, at Parsons. After a lot of animation, many life lessons and a lot of personal and professional enrichment, he returned to his roots because he cannot stay away from friends and family.
He collaborates with several brands (both in design and product promotion) and likes to meet creative and entrepreneurial people. He regularly shares on his digital platforms the places and new projects that he has the pleasure of knowing and loves every second that passes from one place to the other. Maria assumes that she would not exchange this life for anything else.
In 2009 he created the Stylist and launched the book “Tanta Rupa e Nada para Vestir”.
Our first contact was at the end of 2016, when we participated in the Winter Market Stylista, a market that has been organizing since 2013 (in the Summer and Winter declinations). It was our debut in Lisbon and the opportunity to get to know his work more closely. We are committed to the professionalism of the event and the entire team.
In the illustration that we decided to create after participating in Stylista, we were looking for modernity, balance and subtlety that Maria transmits to us. The line was a graphic element that we found to represent these concepts and a novelty in the work we have developed so far.
In 2019 we decided to create a new illustration for Maria. This time accompanied by her two children, Manel and Pia.
